Mercy Ships announced as charity partner of Geneva Dry

Mercy Ships has been announced as the official charity partner of Geneva Dry 2026, one of the leading global gatherings for the dry bulk shipping and commodities industries.

Taking place on April 28–29 at the Hotel President Wilson in Geneva, the event will bring together shipowners, commodity traders, charterers, analysts and technology leaders from across the maritime sector. The programme will address key topics shaping global commodity flows, including market outlooks, risk management, digitalisation and decarbonisation.

As part of the partnership, Geneva Dry will support the work of Mercy Ships. The collaboration also offers participants a concrete way to engage and contribute to meaningful impact within the maritime industry.

“Demand for in-person, practical debate has never been stronger,” said Sam Chambers, co-organiser of Geneva Dry. “With an agenda designed around outcomes, not buzzwords, we expect this edition to be the most focused and actionable yet.

Our Mercy Ships partnership is an important reminder that commercial progress and social purpose can travel in the same direction.

Through initiatives such as Cargo Day, the global shipping community continues to play an important role in supporting the mission of Mercy Ships, helping bring safe surgery and long-term medical capacity to regions where it is needed most.

Mercy Ships Cargo Day will also be present at Geneva Dry with a dedicated stand. Participants are invited to stop by the stand, meet the team and discover how the shipping community can make a tangible impact through Cargo Day.
